Introduction

When T-Mobile bought Tele2 to offer business customers fixed telephony and internet solutions next to T-Mobile Mobile telephony solutions the two organizations had to integrate.

T-Mobile asked us to fulfill the role of B2B Program manager Integration & Migration.

 Challenge

·    in T-Mobile limited knowledge was available on fixed telephony & internet -portfolio, -business models and -processes

·    in Tele2 limited experience was available on mobile portfolio and -processes

·    a cultural gap between Tele2 and T-Mobile reflected in different ways of working, vocabulary and decision making process

·    T-Mobile was shifting towards an end2end customer journey approach with commercial driver teams – acquisition, cross- & up sell and churn

·    T-Mobile IT department shift  with an new system integrator towards a new target architecture – not taking Tele2 into account yet

·    T-Mobile’s promise to shareholders, customer and the market on the organizational integration date

·    limited description off current processes, solutions and platform on both sides
