• at different place in the organization staff was working on reports in very a time consuming manner
• several versions of the truth were created because the use of different sources but similar definitions. Unclear what the real numbers are

The Customer requested to identify what needs to be done to improve commercial and financial decision making with BI, grow towards predictive analytics to secure better business performance and advise on data platform and analytics solutions and skillset.

 Challenges

• many staff  in the organization worked on similar reports with a great deal of overlapping activities. Nobody trusted the reports of others.
• reports were created manually, both time consuming and error prone
• lack of one version of the truth leaded to many additional hours of analysis
• a lot of time spend on creating reports, rather than analyzing them. Activities on forecasting and predicting are far below par
• competition is much further and has reached a state to pro-actively reach out to individual customers
• implementation of the Digital platform requires a similar state

 What we delivered
